At the 2011 Australian Flute Festival, Fluteworthy gave a presentation on New Teaching Resources for the Flute Teaching Studio. Click here for all the information from the talk including links to websites to download sheet music for free, favourite teaching repertoire and technical books + sites to send your students so they can develop their theory and aural skills.

We also performed a selection of new Australian Repertoire Flute appropriate for HSC students. Some of this repertoire was from our CD
'Eat Chocolate and Cry', other pieces will be included on our new CD - stay tuned!

The launch of Fluteworthy Repertoire Collections - 3 exciting new books for flute players of all levels

To celebrate the launch of Fluteworthy Repertoire Collections on Sunday 12 June 2011 we attempted to have all 99 solos and studies from our collection 99 Solos and Studies for Flute played in one afternoon - a Study Marathon! While we didn't manage to play all ninety-nine, a lovely afternoon was had by all.

We started off by playing en masse group some of the early studies and then moved onto solo performances. We also heard performances of duets and accompanied works from
Repertoire for the Beginner Flautist. Video highlights will be up for you to watch soon!

Thank you to all the wonderful professionals, students and amateur flautists that came and supported us. This was a fun event for players of all levels to get up and have a play!

Sincere thanks also to Mark O'Connor at
FluteTree in Leichhardt for the use the lovely space in his flute shop.
