If you or one of your students is preparing for the HSC you will probably be searching for an Australian piece for your program. In 2016, Fine Music FM created a resource to assist teachers and student with this task - clarinettist Jason Noble hosted the program and interviewed Lindy Montgomery New Australian Music for HSC.

Fluteworthy recordings Spirit of the Plains and Eat Chocolate and Cry are full of suitable repertoire for presentation by NSW HSC performance students for the Mandatory Topic - Music of the last 25 years (Australian Focus). They have been carefully selected to give teachers and students a variety of styles and technical levels to chose from and are all delightful pieces in their own right.

Several of the pieces on this recording have also been included on the new AMEB flute syllabus.
